Stepping into the upgraded Astoria Hotel from Lido La Perla Nera's renovation zone was a delightful surprise. The spacious room with a lovely balcony overlooking Stresa's beauty provided a tranquil escape. The indoor swimming pool and hot tub were serene spots to unwind after a day out exploring.I cherished the access to all Astoria services - the outdoor heated pool, gym, and panoramic roof garden with a Jacuzzi whirlpool. Strolling around the hotel, the recreational amenities were aplenty, offering opportunities for relaxation.Conveniently close to the cable car, ferry, and lakeside restaurants, the location was ideal for leisurely walks and exploration. The helpful staff enhanced the stay, ensuring a pleasant experience.While the dining options and nightlife near the hotel were limited, the serene environment and rejuvenating spa facilities offered a perfect balance. Astoria Hotel's comfortable amenities and tranquil setting make it a serene retreat in the charming town of Stresa, inviting guests to unwind and indulge in moments of peace and relaxation.
